DSM-AGI has passed ISO 9001 certification, and co-operates with ...
DSM-AGI realizes that opportunities come together with technology innovation and product development. As a result, DSM-AGI continues invest in cutting-edge R&D resources. To create more competitiveness, DSM-AGI innovates not only in the new products but also in the new applications.

"Sustainable innovation creates invincibility. DSM-AGI grasp and control all business opportunities make exertion worth while." are the words the DSM-AGI Chairman often uses to encourage the fellow staff.

These words have been said and set as the operation guidance for the DSM-AGI Research team. The key direction for our R&D Team is to create marketable and environmentally friendly products by applying the market mainstream technology as principle supplemented with DSM-AGI specialized technology in UV curable, water-born and organic chemistry to create innovative specialty, high profit products with the aim to leverage the development of the industry as a whole.

Geared for path breaking innovation in UV Resins:

DSM-AGI is committed to the UV industry and has innovation at its core. To serve our customers with the energy curing range DSM-AGI has a team of application experts with a wide range of formulation knowledge. A dedicated research pool working on innovative solutions by combining different chemistries for the energy curing technology platform address the challenges faced by the coatings and inks market to create tomorrow’s breakthrough technologies.

Our innovation focus is on improving adhesion to plastic and metal substrates, high chemical and excellent wear and scratch resistance systems, improved flexibility systems and improved outdoor durability systems. We further aim to develop low viscous and spray applicable 100% or water dilutable systems.

We are currently working on a range of innovations:

+ We are developing and launching Easy-to-Matt UV Resins, for application of very low gloss topcoats where all other key properties demands for high performance topcoats are still met.

+ High resistance plastic coating resins meeting the very high performance demands from consumer electronics like for example mobile phones.

+ Resins with low residuals for use in printing inks.

+ Universal pigment grinding vehicles exhibiting controlled rheology behaviour.

Besides these there is a host of other new developments which arecurrently in the pipeline and will be ready for commercial launch in the near future.
